With nearly four decades of teaching experience, Masayo has dedicated her life to sharing the beauty of Japanese and English language. Together, Masayo and John founded Hana House in 2018, welcoming students of all ages to learn in a warm, homestay-style environment that encouraged cultural exchange and connection.

Today, they continue to offer English and Japanese lessons, both online and in person. These can be enjoyed independently, or alongside Zen House’s cultural experiences, offering a meaningful way to deepen your connection with language and Japanese culture.
